On 4 November the AsiaPeace project convened a roundtable bringing together scholars, analysts and officials from Pakistan, China, and Norway to discuss the role of the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in advancing development and peace in Pakistan.

On the 21 and 22nd of November, The ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Liberal Peace and Ethics of Peacebuilding project and the ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Cyprus Centre (PCC) held a very successful two-days workshop, addressing ethical imperatives of peacebuilding policies.

ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ and the Norwegian Red Cross organized a two day conference in Oslo, discussing roles and responsibility of various actors - humanitarian, developmental, civilian and miltiary - in Afghanistan.

This report was commissioned by the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration, Utlendingsdirektoratet (UDI), to assess the programme for voluntary return to Afghanistan.
