Upon invitation from the , Middle East Centre researchers Júlia Palik, Bruno Oliviera Martins, and Nic Marsh participated in a closed seminar on the future strategic changes and challenges in the Middle East.
The seminar took place in Beirut, Lebanon, 8-10 November and brought together researchers and practitioners working on the Middle East, including researchers from , , , , , and . Participants discussed future issues pertaining to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, regional and international actors' roles and interests in the Middle East, non-state actors' role in civil war dynamics, and the role of technology in future warfare.
