In the recent elections in the , two ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ associates were elected to leadership positions in the association. HÃ¥vard Hegre, Dag Hammarskjöld Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University became Vice President-elect and Kristin Bakke, Professor of Political Science and International Relations at University College London was elected as an at-large member of the Governing Council. ISA's new President for the 2018–19 term is Patrick James, Professor of Political Science at University of Southern California.
