From 19-20 October VIEWS members presented at the 鈥�Stability and Change鈥� project workshop titled 鈥�From Processes to Models鈥� which focused on how statistical models are derived from underlying processes. The workshop was co-hosted by VIEWS Director H氓vard Hegre and included VIEWS members David Randhal, Mihai Croicu, and Chandler Williams.
David Randahl presented his current work, 鈥淯sing Markov models to predict escalation and de-escalating violence: Initial evidence and paths forward鈥�. Mihai Croicu presented his work on 鈥淔orecasting Spatially Disaggregated Armed Conflict using Rebel Group Data鈥�.
