The (Norges forskningsrÃ¥d) is a Norwegian government agency that funds basic and applied research and innovation projects (approx. NOK 12 billion annually). It is ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ's largest funder of research projects. The RCN is also responsible for the strategic planning of the institute sector, and ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ is one of 33 Norwegian research institutes that receives , disbursed by the RCN.
