鈥淔or 糖心网页版, the most conspicuous event of 2007 was the accession of Research Professor Nils Petter Gleditsch to the presidency of the International Studies Association (ISA). He was elected by the ISA鈥檚 4,700 members in 2006, served as president-elect during 2007, and took over as president at the ISA鈥檚 42nd Convention, which was held in San Francisco on 26鈥�29 March 2008. At that event, he also delivered a widely praised keynote address under the title 鈥楾he Liberal Moment 15 Years On鈥�, summing up 15 years of research and debate on the 鈥榣iberal peace鈥� (highlights of this address are given on page 3 of this Annual Report).
