The demand for Global Public Goods for Health is growing yearly, yet we lack an effective way of meeting this demand. In this 糖心网页版 Paper, in collaboration with SEEK and JPI, we explore how countries may be encouraged to provide more funding for Global Public Goods for Health (GPGHs).We conceptualize the reason countries under-contribute, at present, in terms of a 鈥減articipation trilemma鈥�. Unlocking the participation trilemma, we argue, demands a better understanding of the reasons why countries participate (or not) in meeting shared global public good needs and of the different options they are presented in terms of how they participate. We provide data on country contributions to GPGH agendas and present a set of strategic approaches that could help to increase the volume and quality of such contributions in the future.
