This one year pilot project consisted of 3 workshops and several publications that aimed to identify the most promising avenues of research collaboration on Turkey鈥檚 role in the formation of a new regional 鈥渃ommonwealth鈥�. The project focused on local perceptions of Turkey鈥檚 enhanced regional role in the Caucasus, southeast Europe, Cyprus, and in particular, the Arab states.
