Julieta Lemaitre is Associate Professor of Law at Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá. She is a lawyer from Universidad de los Andes (1995), has an M.A. in gender and religious studies from NYU 1998 and a doctoral degree in law (SJD) from Harvard University (2007) with a concentration in law and society. Her research areas are law and social movements, law and violence, violence against women, and sexual and reproductive rights. She has collaborated with Kristin Sandvik at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ since 2009, and was appointed a ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Global Fellow in 2014. In the fall of 2014 and spring of 2015 she will also be Robina Foundation Visiting Human Rights Fellow at the Yale Law School.
