Interests and experience

I am a Research Professor in Humanitarian Studies at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ and a law professor at UiO. I co-founded and directed the Norwegian Centre for Humanitarian Studies. I teach ethics, sociology of law, legal tech, and AI and robot regulations. I lead the RCN-funded LAW22JULY: RIPPLES (SAMRISK) and Do No Harm: Ethical humanitarian Innovation (NORGLOBAL), and I am part of RegulAir and Co-duties. My book on Humanitarian Extractivism (MUP 23) is out. My next book is on humanitarian regulation.
