Tor Egil Førland was a research fellow at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ 1988–90, while writing his doctoral dissertation on CoCom and economic warfare. He later became professor of History at the University of Oslo. From 2025 he is once again affiliated with ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ while writing a biography of its founder, Johan Galtung.
