Muzammel Huq was guest researcher at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ for two periods in 1977 and 1978 while working on his PhD thesis at Oxford University. Upon leaving Oxford in 1979, he returned to Bangladesh, while remaining an external research associate at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ. He is currently (2011) Chairman of the Board of Grameen Bank.
