Jeff Checkel is Professor and Chair of International Politics at the European University Institute (EUI). He has been affiliated with ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ since 2003, initially through the Centre for the Study of Civil War (CSCW). He was Working Group leader for the Centre's Group on Transnational and International Facets of Civil War (2006-2010) and Social Dynamics of Civil War (2011-2012). Checkel is also affiliated with ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ's Research School on Peace and Conflict, offering doctoral seminars on civil wars, governance and qualitative methods.
