About:
Eva Chalkiadaki works as a research assistant and centre coordinator at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ. She holds a MA in Development, Environment and Cultural Change and has experience with humanitarian work. Her research interests lay across the humanitarian-development-peace nexus, particularly on the fields of peacebuilding, humanitarian action and migration and their intersections with the environment. Particularly, she is interests in Cyprus and the Middle East.
Eva wrote her MA thesis on the topic of the potentialities of environmental peacebuilding for inter-communal youth engagement in Cyprus in collaboration with ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Cyprus Centre through the UiO-ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Student Programme.
In her research related work at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ, Eva was engaged with two research projects: INSPIRE and AidAccount. This work included working on academic outputs, organization of workshops and seminars, website management, interviewing and social media communication strategy. In addition, Eva coordinated the Middle East Centre.
