The Research Council of Norway announced funding for 21 new projects this week. This funding is part of the FRIPRO scheme, which supports ground-breaking research across various disciplines. ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ was delighted at the funding of two of its projects.
"Our researchers' success highlights the quality and impact of ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ's research initiatives, which continue to receive solid recognition from significant funding bodies such as the Research Council of Norway​," said Henrik Urdal, ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Director.
The two projects which received funding and are considered by the Research Council to provide ground-breaking new knowledge were:
- Conflict-related attacks on education and children’s lost life opportunities, led by ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Research Professor Gudrun Østby, and
- Recording Explosive Munitions for the analysis of WAR crimes, led by ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Senior Researcher, Sebastian Schutte.
ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ was awarded two of the 14 ‘experienced researcher projects’. More information about these projects will soon be available at the ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ website.
