The 2024 ISCRAM conference is jointly hosted by the ERCIS Competence Center for Crisis Management (C鲁M) at the University of M眉nster and the State Fire Service Institute North Rhine-Westphalia (IdF). The conference theme takes a process-centric view on crisis management: 鈥淓mbracing the Crisis Management Lifecycle鈥�.
The DIGeMERGE poster presents a case study of Norway's Cell Broadcast Emergency Alert system. DIGeMERGE researchers have investigated public responses to the testing of the new emergency alert system and examined the first use of the system in a real-life emergency in early August 2023; an extreme weather event known as 鈥淗ans鈥�.
