Norway is an elected member of the UN Security Council and holds the presidency for the month of January. Yesterday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anniken Huitfeldt, gave on the Norwegian membership and presidency.
In this briefing she underscored the role of research and researchers, and in particular ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ and our colleagues at NUPI (The Norwegian Institute of International Affairs) for organizing roundtables featuring researchers and practitioners providing knowledge-based input to Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ's side it is Louise Olsson, Ida Rødningen, and Henrik Urdal who are coordinating this work.
