Katrine Fangen, Professor at the University of Oslo and member of the ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ project 'Reaching Out to Close the Border: The Transnationalization of Anti-Immigration Movements in Europe (MAM)' was recently (in Norwegian), arguing that it can be a strategic choice to put women in front of the movement both to soften the message and to appeal more to female voters.
