ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Global Fellow Ukoha Ukiwo is visiting ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ this week (19-23. January). Ukoha holds a PhD in development studies from the University of Oxford. He is currently the Programme Manager at the Nigeria Stability and Reconciliation Programme, a DFID funded initiative aimed at helping Nigerians better manage conflict and ensure a reduction in cases of violent conflict. He has also been Senior Lecturer at the Dept. of Political and Administrative Studies, University of Port Harcourt, and been a visiting scholar both at University of California, Berkley and the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium.
While at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Ukoha will work together with Gudrun Østby and Siri Aas Rustad with particular focus on the upcoming presidential election in Nigeria in early February. Ukoha will hold a seminar on this topic Friday 23rd at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ.
