Today (Sunday 24 October 2010), pioneering peace researcher Johan Galtung celebrates his 80th birthday.
Johan Galtung was the leader of the group of young, dedicated people, that founded ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ in 1959. Without Galtung, ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ would not have been there to celebrate it's 50th anniversary in 2009.
