Long-time ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ-associate HÃ¥kan Wiberg passed away in his home in Copenhagen on 3 July 2010. Wiberg’s last visit to ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ was in June 2009, when he took part in the celebration of the institute’s 50th Anniversary, and attended his last editorial meeting of the Journal of Peace Research (JPR). HÃ¥kan Wiberg was a frequent visitor to ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ from the mid-1960s onwards. In 1980 and 1982 he spent several months as a guest researcher at ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ. Wiberg remained in close contact with ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ and served on the editorial committee of JPR continuously since 1977 – a total of 33 years – longer than anyone else.
