What role does migration play in the way we live our lives today?

This event features two research-based animations followed by a discussion on migration experiences, linking South Asia to present-day Oslo.

Come to see two short animated films, one from Karachi and one from Mumbai, that address social mobility and migration. Mumbai: '' and '' - Karachi. The films are based on ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ research, illustrated by local artists - MiaJose and Wasfa Kamal - and produced in collaboration with .

After the screening, there will be a short panel discussion about different experiences with migration. The panel will include Atta Ansari and Pratharna, and the discussion will be moderated by Astri Ghosh. Before the film screening, ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ Research Professor Marta Bivand Erdal will give a brief introduction on how these films have come about.

From 4:15 PM, the concert   which focuses on South Asian musical traditions in the Nordic region, will be held. Admission to this event is also free.
