This is the concluding research seminar for a three year collaborative project between the International Peace Research Institute, Oslo (ÌÇÐÄÍøÒ³°æ) and the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs (NUPI), funded by the Research Council of Norway. In addition to the project participants, the seminar will be attended by a number of leading experts in the field. A total of 13 papers will be presented at the seminar, all of which will be submitted to Comparative Social Research, edited by Kristian Berg Harpviken, to be published in 2009.
